Center Director receives 2017 HERO Mark Dundon Research Award

Congratulations to Center Director Glorian Sorensen for winning the 2017 HERO Mark Dundon Research Award, for work that demonstrates the power of well-being programs to transform lives in the workplace and beyond.

The Mark Dundon Research Award recognizes the efforts Glorian has made throughout her career to enhance and promote research that advances the science of employee health and well-being. It is one of the HERO Workplace Health and Well-Being Awards given annually at the HERO Forum to honor dedication and commitment to the well-being industry, and to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of leaders in the field.

The Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) is a not-for-profit corporation based in Waconia, Minn., dedicated to identifying and sharing best practices that improve the health and well-being of employees, their families, and communities. The 2017 HERO Forum on Engagement and the Emerging Workforce was held September 12-14, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ.
