Susan Peters to speak at Healthy Workforce Business Conference

Center Research Scientist Dr. Susan Peters will be a keynote speaker at the Madison County Public Health’s 2nd Annual Healthy Workforce Business Conference, to be held on October 4, 2023, at the Appley Conference Center in Hamilton, NY. She will present on "Worker Health in a Post-Pandemic World." This conference is designed especially for workforce leaders, including supervisors and human resources personnel, to gain knowledge and tangible techniques that advance overall worker health, and insights on trending workforce topics. Speakers include local, regional, and national experts from NIOSH, Harvard, Upstate Medical University, Unity Recovery, Center for Creative Leadership, and others.  The Madison County Public Health Department became a NIOSH Total Worker Health® Affiliate in 2019, uniting 28+ organizations to strategize and promote worker health. This year, the conference is part of the County's continuing efforts to foster a healthier post-pandemic workforce.
