Improving mental health and wellbeing in construction workers: Understanding the role of work and the conditions of work
September 1, 2016 – December 31, 2017
The aim of this study was to determine what workers think about and what they understand about their mental health and wellbeing within the context of the work environment, including factors that contribute to poor mental health and those that support and promote mental health and wellbeing. The study also examined pathways within the Center’s Conceptual Model by testing associations between work-related factors and psychological distress among commercial construction workers.
Northeastern University internal funding supported this research.
